Hello and happy Monday!
Mondays are a kind of a wildcard day for me. I’m working from home, and often balancing several different professional roles (pelvic floor therapist serving my clients, business owner, co-founder of Ground, Nourish, Breathe, and writer — not to mention parent and partner). At best, it’s restful, creative, and inspiring. And often, it’s those things and frenetic, having packed a few too many things in on my “rest” day.
With this in mind, I present to you today’s Ground practice: the midday re-center. For when you’re feeling a little cooked but still have things to do. Maybe you feel like you’ve lost the flow or purpose of your day. Maybe you feel exhausted. Wherever you are, I hope you can use this practice to find your way into the next segment of whatever is ahead of you.
